Ch Ardenwood's As Time Goes By JH WCX
"Zip(!!!)"

Zip(!!!) is our first homebred champion. He is from our Emma's first litter, sired by Ch Rockyhill's Landslyde, a dog Joe & I hunted over several times over the years. Our boy can do it all. He's shown that he will be a good obedience and agility competitor, but since he will be Joe's newest hunting companion, we decided to focus on finishing his conformation championship and training for the field. It's been a great journey so far --
Junior Hunter title in four tries (four for four!) at twelve months old.
Working Certificate (WC) & Unsteady Singles B Fourth Place at the 2007 FCRSA Minnesota specialty, plus fourth in 12-15 puppy sweeps and third in the 12-18 class (fourteen months old.)
Champion with three majors and limited showing at sixteen months.
Working Certificate Excellent & Steady Singles Judges Award of Merit at the 2008 FCRSA Oregon specialty (still just 24 months old!) Zip(!!!) and his brother Gustav were the youngest dogs to JAM in SS. A judge from one stake commented: "I'd take that liver dog home in a heartbeat. I've got an extra crate in my car..." A judge from another stake stood up and said: "Oh, no you don't! I saw him first!"
First Senior Hunter leg at the Rogue Valley HRC test the next week...still 24 months old.

Here are some additional photos and info from his previous page:
Zip(!!!) earned his WCX and a Judge's Award of Merit at the FCRSA Steady Singles event in Gervais, Oregon at the 2008 FCRSA Specialty.
Zip(!!!) earned his championship at the Richmond Dog Fancier show in Dixon, California on August 4, 2007 with a third major -- this time a three point major. Zip(!!!) is sixteen months old. This was a wonderful birthday present for Joe!
Zip finished his WC, placed in Unsteady Singles B, and gained placements in Puppy Sweepstakes and regular conformation at the FCRSA National Specialty in Minnesota in June, 2007.
Zip earned his second major at the Chief Solano shows on April 22, 2007. The judge was Mr. Terry Stacy. Zip(!!!) now has twelve of the necessary fifteen points needed to earn his Championship.

Zip(!!!) and Joe are celebrating their new Junior Hunter title with judge Mary Beth Lamb. Zip went four for four, and earned his first hunt title at the Rogue Valley Retriever Club Hunt test in April 2007. Zip(!!!) was still twelve months old when he finished his junior. Now on to senior, WC/WCX and perhaps Derby!

Zip(!!!)'s first point from the 6-9 month class -- he's a SHOWDOG! Since this photo was taken, Zip earned both majors (four points each) at the Golden Gate KC and Chief Solano KC in early 2007. He's also earned one BOB from the classes, Best Flatcoat Puppy twice, a Puppy Group two and a Puppy Group Four.

Zip(!!!) (a.k.a. light blue) is Emma's son and Pete's grandson. He is quite the fun boy, and we're looking forward to watching him grow.
